All data is stored on your device. No third-party transfer. Optionally sync across your own devices via your personal iCloud account. You have full control over your sensitive license data.
Add a new license through the "New License" button. Enter the relevant information – app name, vendor, license key, expiry date – and assign the license to a category. Optionally, load the app file or search for the app in the App Store. You can also attach files like invoices or installers.
Yes, by default all licenses are shown in the overview. Expired and soon-to-expire licenses are flagged or highlighted, depending on your setting in the "Appearance" tab. So you'll always see at a glance which licenses need renewal.
Yes, you can attach any kind of file to a license – purchase receipts, invoices, installation files or license agreements. They're stored securely on your device and stay linked to the license.
Create your own categories like "Productivity", "Development", "Creative" or "Security" – every category can be given its own colour. A license can be assigned to a category directly when editing it, and in the license list you can also assign multiple licenses to a category at once.
Backup is done via the export function. You can export your full license data in CSV or JSON format – including icons and categories. Run regular backups to protect your valuable data.
LicenseManagerPro supports two export formats: CSV for Excel, Numbers and other spreadsheets, and JSON as a structured format for backups and data processing. Both formats fully preserve license data, categories and icons.
Yes. LicenseManagerPro reads CSV files from BundleHunt, KeyKeeper and your own CSV/JSON exports. Pick the file – LicenseManagerPro takes care of the rest.
On export, all license data is written to a file you can store wherever you like – including all license info, categories with icons and colours, plus all metadata. Your original database stays unchanged.
Security is the top priority. All data is stored on your device, you can optionally protect the app with a password. Optionally sync via your own iCloud account. You're in full control.
Yes. You can enable password protection in the settings. The app will then ask for the password on launch. Optionally you can store the password in the macOS Keychain – more comfort, same security.
LicenseManagerPro runs on macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. The app is optimised for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and runs natively on Intel Macs as well.
Yes. LicenseManagerPro is also available as a native iPad app, with the same core features optimised for touch and a custom interface. Find out more on the product page under the iPad tab.
Yes. You can install the app on all your Macs and iPads. Optionally sync your license data across devices via your own iCloud account.
